Q4 2023 Snapshot: Top Delivered Meal Kits & Specialty Foods Apps in Latin America

As the year 2023 wrapped up, Sensor Tower data gives us a glimpse into the performance of the top delivered meal kits and specialty foods applications on Android in Latin America during the fourth quarter. Here's how the leading apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Vivino: Buy the Right Wine experienced a notable increase in revenue, starting the quarter with $574K and peaking at $1.22M in the final week. Downloads showed a positive trend as well, beginning at nearly 4K and rising to over 5K by the end of December. Weekly active users fluctuated, reaching a high of over 66K in late September before dipping and then closing the quarter at around 63K.

HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery, while not generating revenue, saw its downloads peak at 919 in mid-October, followed by a decline to 719 by the year's end. The app's weekly active users reflected a similar pattern, with the number slightly fluctuating around 25K for most of the quarter before decreasing to approximately 23K in the last week of December.

Green Chef: Healthy Recipes also reported no revenue, but downloads doubled from 27 to 100 between late October and late December. The weekly active user count remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.3K throughout the quarter.

EveryPlate: Cooking Simplified observed a mild increase in downloads from 38 to 67 from the start to the end of the quarter, despite no revenue. Weekly active users experienced a slight drop from around 1.8K to 1.5K in the same period.

Lastly, Chefs Plate: Cooking Made Easy showed minimal activity, with downloads remaining in single digits and no revenue reported. Unfortunately, data for weekly active users is not available.
